*** TIME CHANGE: 9AM ARRIVAL ***
During the busy summer weekends the parking lot typically fills up by 10am and does not clear until 3pm. During this time there is no admittance to the park. Please plan on arriving around 9 am to avoid being turned away. We will still have a picnic at 11, but will be able to work up an appetite by hiking and exploring before the meal.
*** RELEASE OF LIABLITY ***
Due to the park regulations on groups greater than 20, all attendees will need to sign a Release of Liability form. We will have the form available when you arrive. A parent or guardian will need to sign for all children under 18.
PAACH Families,
Enjoy our Father's creation with other PAACH families for a picnic and hike at Starved Rock. Bring some grilled or smoked meats and a dish to share. We suggest the dads do the cooking to give the moms a break. After the picnic we can go hiking and explore the park.
No cost to attend this event for PAACH.
